No child can participate in KMSA activities until a registration form is received and registered with Ontario Soccer and fees paid in full.

The season is expected to begin on May 27, 2024 and run until July 25, 2024.  A mid-season break will be held from June 26 to July 2 inclusive (please note that June 26 and 27 may be used as make up dates for any games postponed due to inclement weather).

*KMSA is adding a U16 division this year for players born in 2008-2009.  Please note that if not enough registrations are received, 2009 players would be placed in a U15 division with players born in 2010-2011 as in recent seasons.*

Equipment

Soccer cleats and shin guards with soccer socks are mandatory for all participants. Shin guards are to be worn underneath socks and not vice versa. KMSA recommends black socks and shorts for all participants.  Shirts will be given out during the first evening of soccer. All shirts are to be returned to respective coaches at the end of the season (with the exception of any Timbits equipment for U4, U6 and U8).

Volunteers Needed

KMSA requires many volunteers in order to conduct a successful season. We are in serious need of many volunteers such as coaches, assistant coaches, referees, organizers, field maintenance personnel, individuals to set up the fields prior to practices/games, etc… If you are interested in volunteering with KMSA, please indicate your interest on the registration form or contact us by e-mail  at kapminorsoccer@gmail.com or visit our Facebook page.

Coaching Clinic

Coaching sessions will be held for all levels prior to the start of the season.  Please see the website (www.kapuskasingsoccer.ca) for more details.  We also have a variety of coaching material that we could provide to those interested in becoming a new coach this season.  Interested participants are asked to contact kapminorsoccer@gmail.com or indicate your interest on the registration form.

Referee Clinic

KMSA is always in search for referees.  For those interested, we ask that individuals please email kapminorsoccer@gmail.com so we can provide you with the details and instructions to certify this year!  A practical clinic will be held in Timmins on May 25, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
